Looting vs financial boycott of Ferguson…..Looting = damage, awareness (very short lived via negative news coverage), insurance payouts for the business owners (most of the time not taxable, so if your business was struggling anyway you just got cool little payout and are ready for early retirement)….….. Financial boycott of Ferguson= a depletion of the city’s income, thats income that funds the police salaries, the city workers salaries, the elected official’s salaries……..decisions will probably be made a little faster and a little differently if their mortgage and car payments are on the line. When you know better you do better……
