Louisiana Roadwork Causing I-20 Traffic Near Waskom If you are headed to or from Louisiana on Interstate 20 today, traffic could be very slow moving near the Texas-Louisiana state line. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is doing upgrades to weigh-in-motion scales at the Greenwood weigh station. The work is causing lane closures on I-20 eastbound and westbound from the Texas state line to mile marker two in Louisiana. On both Friday and Saturday, traffic was backed up all the way to the Waskom exits in Texas. The work started last Thursday and is expected to last about two months.
