Luke 7: 11-15 11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. 12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. 14 And he came and touched the dead son: and they that carried him stood still. And Jesus said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. One day on my lunch break I went somewhere to read the word of God and I came across this scripture and when I read it, I understood what happened but felt like God was telling me something, so I asked God what did this mean? Now I understand! I had only one son, and God had compassion and he raised my son’s spirit and took him home with him and he delivered my son to me for a proper burial, as I asked in prayer one morning! I was talking to God and said: Lord, Mary was able to clean you up and bury you, and I want to be able to have my son a proper burial, and God answered that prayer so graciously! My son was found in the woods on private land, and a precious young man of God found him! this man named Daniel said: I am a born again Christian and when Shane (my friend’s son) came up missing he felt he was supposed to find him, but that didnt happen, but it was Phillip he was suppose to find! God had already prepared this man to find my son! My son would have never been found but this guy was out one day looking for deer antlers and he found my son, because as a Christian our steps are ordered by the Lord according to the word of God and if the dog or the rescue team would have found my son they would have gotten credit. But God got all the glory! He wanted to show me he heard my prayer and only God knew where my son was. The man that owned the land said: if this guy wouldnt have been out in the woods that day it would have been next fall before he would have been found and God did the same for my friend Dequita in finding her son. that river was drug twice but his mama prayed night and day and God had some fisherman find him! God did the same for both of us. Our only desire was for our children to make it to heaven and sometimes our prayers are answered in a package we don’t want. But, they have made it and we have the hope to see them again, we are just pilgrims passing through this world! This is just a temporary home to bring others to Christ! More than anything I want to stand in the gap for the lost and be a soul winner, and I know Dequita has the same heart for the lost! (Please continue to read below this scripture of what God showed me this morning as I will lay my son to rest today). This morning I open up my bible to I Kings 17: 8-24 As I was reading about Elijah going to this widow’s house during a famine and she only had a handful of meal in a barrel, Elijah asked her to make him a cake first and then make one for herself and her son, then he told her that the barrel of meal would not run out and neither would the oil, until the Lord sent rain again on the earth. As the prophet Elijah told her, as the Lord said she never ran out. Then this mother’s only son got sick and died and she complain to the man of God out of hurt, and he told her to give him her son, and he cried unto the Lord and then prayed saying: Let this child’s soul come into him and the Lord heard the voice of Elijah and the soul of the child came into him again and Elijah brought this mothers child to her and said: SEE, THY SON LIVETH! PRAISE GOD HE HAS ANSWERED MY PRAYERS, I PRAYED MORE PRAYERS FOR MY SON THAN ANYONE I HAVE EVER PRAYED FOR AND CRIED MANY OF TEARS FOR HIM, AND GOD’S WORD SAYS: ARE NOT OUR TEARS IN YOUR BOTTLE ARE THEY NOT WRITTEN IN YOUR BOOK, THOSE TEARS AND PRAYERS WERE NOT IN VAIN, GOD REMEMBERED MY TEARS AND PRAYERS FOR MY SON! AND I HAVE NO DOUBT GOD GAVE PHILLIP A CLEAR CONSCIENCE AND PHILLIP WAS ABLE TO CALL OUT TO JESUS! THANK YOU LORD FOR BRINGING ME BACK TO YOU ON 12/30/13 AND FOR SAVING MY SON FOR HE IS ALIVE IN YOUR PRESENCE FOREVER MORE! YOUR CHILD, GAYLE PITTS
