MAINTENANCE STOREMAN - HOWICK RedCat Recruitment is seeking a MAINTENANCE STOREMAN for a national concern – position based in Howick. JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS Grade 12. Computer literate (MS Office, Email / Internet). Previous experience in stock keeping, preferably in a maintenance/spares environment ESSENTIAL! Responsible for maintaining stock levels of spares within the maintenance department as well as performing an administration function within this department Attention to detail is imperative. Preferably be technically-minded. Must be able to work independently and be able to use their initiative. The candidate will be responsible for: - Various administrration duties related to maintenance. - Implementation and maintenance of a stock control system for spares. - Receiving, issuing and ordering of spares. - Act as contact person for maintenance and assign technicians to breakdowns. Experience in the following areas would be advantageous: - Spares or workshop environment. - Administrative related functions. Applicants must be prepared to work overtime and weekends.
