MEMBER OF THE WEEK MIKAYLA SAUBER - Mikayla started her FFA adventure as a freshman with her older sister by her side with a bit of experience with the Staples - Motley FFA Chapter. Mikayla has not been afraid to get her hands dirty and find out what how FFA can benefit her and what she can do for FFA. She was a recipient of the Blue Jackets - Bright Futures efforts by the Minnesota Alumni Foundation which she received a sponsored FFA jacket. Aside from being successful in CDEs at Region and State level, Mikayla currently serves as Staples-Motley Historian and is in the 10th grade. Mikayla is active in her high school with sports and musical talents of orchestra and choir. FFA fits Mikayla’s interest in raising and showing her own poultry, which is her SAE. She has several chickens of various breeds including, Leghorns, Bantam Rhode Island Reds, Cornish Cross and brown and white egg layers. A really neat thing about Mikayla’s SAE is that she sells the meat and eggs to local customers! Talk about ‘Farm Fresh’ ! Congratulations to Ms. Mikayla Sauber for being Minnesota FFA’s Member of the Week! Would you like to nominate a FFA member?
