Page to Stage Sessions 7.30pm - 9.30pm, Monday 9th December 2013 Room 305, Tower Mill, Heart of Hawick PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FINAL SESSION OF PAGE TO STAGE WILL TAKE PLACE ON 9TH DECEMBER NOT 16TH DECEMBER AS PREVIOUSLY STATED. Page to Stage is an opportunity for actors and playwrights all to get together once a month and inspire and encourage each other, whilst honing creative skills and abilities. The sessions are led by actors and writers, for actors and writers, to encourage and develop scripts – by seeing them as they are destined to be seen – in performance. Each month, a script (be it for theatre, screen or radio) will be chosen in advance, cast and then brought to life by professional actors in a script-in-hand reading, before being given constructive criticism by all those attending Novembers Page to Stage session once again saw professional actors read another work in progress, this time Jules Hornes playlets. Great feedback from both the writer herself: Huge thanks guys for fantastic reading on Mon - great suggestions and is helping me get head round the play... and from other new attendees: First visit to a Page to Stage reading last night.
