MENE RA KHEPERA Father...Team Coach...Mentor...Servant For the past four years, Mene Khepera (aka Coach Cap) has coached this group of bantam, midget and now youth boys. They have been RANKED #1 in the nation in several events and have won the NATIONAL TITLE. But their accomplishments are the result of hard work, faith, discipline, training, and a core belief that GOD has already designed you to be great--you just have to believe it and go get it! Last year after winning the national title, Khepera immediately began researching speed training, take out techniques, hand-offs and all the intangibles that go along with building a championship team. He knew the boys would be challenged this year because they would be in a new age division running against older boys. But of course that didnt matter to him. He knows the extraordinary talent level of not only these four boys, but all twelve of the boys that are on the (13-14 Youth Boys) team. He did off-season training twice a month...started in September! They ran hills and stairs, pulled sleds, jumped rope, used resistance bands, and even built a sand pit in OUR backyard (true story)! His time, financial investment, mentoring and commitment to show these boys an example of what a BLACK father, coach, mentor, and professional should be is a powerful testimony of how GOD is using a once fatherless boy (who grew up without his dad) to make a difference in the lives of other boys and his OWN son! #We LOVE and appreciate you!
