MERCED -- Covered California announced its new community outreach campaign, which includes $14.6 million in grants to community organizations that provide outreach, education and enrollment services. Seven of the organizations awarded funding serve Merced County. Funding for Covered California’s Navigator Grants comes as an effort to attract new consumers and encourage them to enroll in the state’s benefit exchange this fall, according to officials.
