METAMORPHOSIS (Excerpts from Devotional Box - a daily devotional by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth) * * * 2nd November, 2014. * * * TITLE:. FINISH OUTSTANDING TASKS SCRIPTURAL TEXT: (1Corinthians 9:24) “ Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.” * * * Only an Athlete who competes in a race gets a chance of being rewarded, yet that chance is lost when the athlete fails to cross the finish line. As a parallel to life, this shows that there is no reward for those who just tried. Only those who complete an assignment with the best possible results are rewarded. Glory to God! The Bible says that those who endure till the end are saved, suggesting that the challenges faced in the course of the year should not be excuse enough for you to abandon your projects midway. Rather, you ought to find a way to achieve the goals you set for yourself when the year began, despite all odds. There is no glory in piling up unfinished tasks. Therefore, begin today in partnership with the Holy Spirit so that He may show you ways and strategies by which you can successfully complete every task that you have started out in 2014. This way, you can be sure of ending the year on a glorious note. * * * ISAIAH PROPHESIES:Receive grace to finish well this year in Jesus name * * * ACTION POINTS DO THIS: List out all abandoned projects and set timelines to complete each one. * * * SAY THIS: I decree and I declare that the Glory of God is upon me. * * * STUDY YOUR BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: DANIEL 4&5, JOHN 9, PROVERBS 6 * * * CHRISTIAN MISSION FOCUS ALGERIA With a 97% muslim population, 85% of Algerians are unreached with the Gospel but faith is growing among Arabs. New fellowships are popping up. Their youths are frustrated and disillusioned but they make up the largest population in Algeria and amongst them are the majority of the Christians. * * * PRAY FOR ALGERIA: We are praying that every hold of religion be broken off the people that they may yield to the Gospel of Christ. * * * STARTUP PRAYER: Dear father, help me to finish all projects that I have started in Jesus name. * * * PRAYER OF CONSECRATION Oh Lord my God, I thank you for my year so far. I consecrate my plans to you. Do not let me fall short of what you have for me this year. Open my eyes to see your plans, open my way and let help and favour guide me into the path of continuous r.
