MMLP1 in my opinion is one of the greatest albums period. MMLP2 had a lot to live up to. it fell short but lets say .. it was called something else.. and you compare to all the other bullshit coming out in the mainstream - now what do you think .. listen to the 2nd part of Bad Guy (the beat for the 1st part is horrific) and peep the bars in that along w/ the fact that he used the same rhyme scheme for the entire verse .. cmon now .. the fact that hes at this age spitting and still doing shit like that .. while Jay-Z is rhyming 1 syllables words still and people are hopping all on his nuts about it?? cmon man. Em is a GOD period. you dont have to like his albums because of his beats and what not (which i agree, a lot of them are wack on here) but you have to respect the dude. you can tell he actually sits there and puts in work when writing .. unlike Jay-Z .. sorry to keep bringing Jay-Z up but he annoys me.
