MOJITO A0978889.TO BE DESTROYED 9/22/13 ★ ★ SWEET OLD CHAP ABANDONED IN A BASEMENT ★ ★ Click the pic for more info!!!! A volunteer writes: I spotted Otis right away as I arrived at the care center. He was sleeping as tight as a baby, all curled up in his kennel. I tapped on his shoulder. He looked all surprised but got up right away, was leashed easily and off we went for a slow walk in the yard. Otis climbs stairs slowly but surely. He does a lot of sniffing, exploring eagerly his new premises. Otis seems fine with other dogs met, big and small. He appears very much housetrained, eliminating at each of our walks. His den is always spotless and orderly. Otis is an elderly gentleman who does own a well groomed coat. He is on the thin side and has calluses. His hinds are very slightly wobbly but his gait gets steadier and steadier as we walk. Otis comes right away when called, sits on command and does like very much to be petted, looking very gently at me. He is a sweet old chap who was unfortunately abandoned in a basement and needs now a new home to call his own and a master to love. Gentle Otis is at the Manhattan Care Center. Sweet older dogs make wonderful friends. I own two and feel quite happy to make their final years, healthy and happy. TO BE DESTROYED 9/22/13
