#MSwx - Good Morning Mississippi! After a freezing cold weekend, temperatures will rise over the next few days, back to an average 72° today and into the mid-70s by Wednesday. Well also start the work week with mostly sunny skies, but clouds will build in tomorrow, all ahead of our next round of showers and storms on Wednesday. Clouds will at least keep us a little warmer through the overnight hours, essentially like an atmospheric blanket, with lows tonight in the 50s and maybe even the 60s by Wednesday morning. By Wednesday evening, expect that next cold front to arrive, bringing most of the area a good round of rain, some heavy at times, before it pushes out all together by Thursday. Behind the front, temperatures will once again drop, but wont get nearly as cold as this past weekend. Expect a cool, high temperature of 57° on Thursday before the mercury rises back into the mid-60s by next weekend.
