MY ORGINAL OPINION , WHICH WAS EDITED Short term solutions. This is with reference to K/T 30 September 2013 Focus article, ‘Indian temples guard their gold from government’. Temple must come forward to help the nation (anyway why GOD needs money?), but the Congress led UPA Govt do not have credibility which has nothing to show but scams, yet more scams of corruption, this is the reason that nobody will give them gold. UPA Government to hide its total failure on economic front which has been created by the government itself due to its incompetence and spate of corruption which has paralyzed the government . Instead of taking the appropriate steps to correct the wrong policies, now eyes on temple gold to overcome rupee crisis. This is outrageous why should temples pay? For the misdeeds of Congress led UPA Govt? Why should they bail the political mis managers out. Why RBI is not forcing the Government to initiate steps for bring back the unaccounted black money from Swiss Banks and auction the ill gotten wealth of all our political dynasties. What an insane govt. It is like a drunkard demanding jewelry from his mother for buying food stuff but spends 99% on more liquor...what next? Gold from Temple? There is not end to this, unless they control corruption, improve Govt machinery and focus on infra/industries/jobs instead of keep giving more and more freebies to garner votes ,UPA Govt is like a black hole.
