MY SAY>POLITICS AND GOD (A MUST READ): Government is an orderly setup meant for a disciplined co-existence of all Gods creation based on equality and justice not minding race or disposition. The first constitution ever came from God in His commandments to man, the Bible inclusive, from which governments of the world today draw a parallel. Any manipulation of the laws of God is an offence and the offender must be penalised not minding status whatsoever, before the court of heaven. Because God is no respecter of persons, He uses anybody He deems fit to fulfill His wishs so long as that person meets His estimate, and will carry out the requiered duties effectively to the benefit of His children, of which we all are. He allowed Josephs brothers to sell Joseph so that Joseph can go to Egypt, in preparation for the future of his people at the time of need. He used Pharaoh, a heathen and ruler of Egypt in Abrahams time, to educate Moses in order for Moses to be able not only to lead the children of Israel through the uncharted deseart, but to teach them His commandments, and also write the first five books of the Bible. Without Nebuchadnezzar Daniel would not have come to prominence as one of the greatest prophets we know today. King Cyrus, founder of the Persian Empire, gave order for the temlpe of God that was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzer to be rebuilt. He even raised taxes to help the children of God in the reconstrution of the city of Jerusalem; yet he was a heathen. But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon, the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this HOUSE OF GOD. And the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzer took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one, whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he made governor; And said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that is in Jerusalem, and LET THE HOUSE OF GOD BE BUILDED IN HIS PLACE (Ezra 5:13-15). From the above we need to understand that Gods ways may not seem right to the unlearned. He can use anybody He so desires to meet our needs anytime. Men of God in particular must be very careful not to sell their conscience and mislead the people because of some dirty millions that will lead to destruction and hell fire. If you really serve God in truth and in Spirit you will not be afraid of man but fear God, because, The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility (Proverbs 15:33). But, The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe (Proverbs 29:25). The true servant of God is a custodian of the will of God and cannever be persuaded by any wrong motivation. ARE YOU TRUELY A CHILD OF GOD????
