Majors Update The White Sox jumped out to an early 9-0 lead after two innings behind the powerful bats of Adam Connolly (3 for 3, 2 runs scored), Kyle McGinnis who missed a HR by inches off the top of the fence (single, double, two RBI, two runs scored), Bobby Yerardi (double, two walks, two runs scored), Espen Reager (run scored, one RBI), Griffin Morris (walk, one run scored), and Andrew Martin(one walk, one single, one RBI). Defensively, Connolly snagged a sharped line drive to center to end the first and also connected with McGinnis to pick-off a runner stealing third, Yerardi continued with his sure glove at shortstop and pitched two great innings with six strikeouts. O’Toole demonstrated solid pitching form with four strikeouts. The flawless fielding of Andrew Martin, Karl Congdon, Diandrew Reillo, and Stavros Dalavouras also greatly contributed to the White Sox success. The Rangers got three runs in the third behind the bats of Aidan Dow, Daniel Welby, Cam Prescott, James Kaiser and Matt Garcia and then plated another in the sixth for a 9-4 final.
