Managing and delivering community development projects is not easy. African countries must invest in building and enhancing skills of their manpower to manage projects and to develop their communities. Genuine poverty reduction and employment creation lies in skills development in project management and community development. The Zimbabwe Country Conference on Project Management seeks to contribute to the ultimate goal of skills development in Project Management. May I, with humility, thank all those who gave me an opportunity to expedite and deliver this programme. As I prepare to leave for Zambia I wish to thank my colleagues and friends in Zimbabwe for the wonderful host and wish you God’s blessings for 2015.
