Many have asked me about the SLS Camera from Digital Dowsing. When it was made available, it was said only a FEW would be made. When I ordered mine, the shop said they would only get 5, and to be one of the 5, pre order! It seems since my videos using this device that demand for the SLS has surged, even at the $1275 price. So now they sold the original 5, and have 7 more on the way. Guess it is not as limited as they once said :) This is good as it gives more investigators a chance to get one. With that out of the way, many have been asking me about it and how it works. I really do not know. There is LITTLE info out there and it is possible that the creator, Bill Chappel does not even know what makes it work. He never even wrote up a manual for it, just a little sheet telling you how to power it on and get it going. No explanations of what anything means. Things to know before you plunk down your money on this: It is quirky. I can scan my house and pick up anomaly detected quite easily and often. It seems to react to something, but I am not sure what. I have experimented with light, heat, cold..but none of those really affected the detection. Of course I always have loads of activity in my house but it seems to detect quite easily. While it is easy to pick up anomaly detected it is not so easy to get a lock and an anomaly acquired. This is when the stick figure pops up, which in theory, is a spirit. Hard to say if it really is though, even with my constant footage showing that it just might be. There are ways to find out though if what you catch is a spirit or entity or just a fluke... WHAT AND HOW TO TEST IF YOU GET ONE: If you get one of these the best way to test and see if what you are picking up is intelligent is to ask it to do certain things. Make it interactive. If you can get a direct response to your request then there just might be something to it, Id say there is a good chance of that. See my 3-4 videos posted using it for what I mean. See how they interact with me and do what I ask on command? This is what you are looking for. If it is not interacting with you, it may be nothing. I have footage of picking up an anomaly twice but I did not share it as it was not being interactive. I feel that if you see a wireframe guy and it moves when you ask, or raises its arms when you ask, or you get an EVP while you are getting activity (as I did a couple days ago) then yes, you probably are recording real time spirit presence, which is incredible. Think about it! But not everything the camera sees will be paranormal. Use it with skepticism and try interactive experiments. I love what I have been getting, and am amazed with it to be honest but its not a 100% type of thing as you can pick up these anomalies without it being a spirit. I love my SLS, and have zero regrets buying it. I have tons more testing to do and am compiling an evidence video using only this camera. Should be up within a week and will be a review/evidence presentation. To those who ordered one, let me know how it goes when you get it and test it out! Steve
