Many of the designers on Cutting Balls stage studied with Ming Cho Lee including Michael Locher York Kennedy and Heidi Leigh Barker. He also insists that directors take his class, which is why every production Rob Melrose leads begins with a conversation with his designers. Ming has made an important impact on our theater, and many others in America. Few from SF will make it to New Haven to see this exhibit, but you can see the influence of his work at every Cutting Ball performance.
