Many years ago I worked at Blick art materials in Roseville. A man came in and wanted help reframing some things. The backing of some of the items were made of old movie posters. He was going to throw them out until I expressed how interesting they were. He left and took everything with him a few days later he returned with the movie posters (which are framed and hanging in my kitchen) and this other piece of art. I did not get his name but was so excited and thankful. Today I was going through old papers and found the little painting he gave me, and what was written on back. Does it look familiar?
