Markham Budget Committee meetings are scheduled: 1. January 23rd - Budget process, Citizen Budget Tool, fiscal scan, overview of budgets (Operating, Capital, Waterworks, Planning & Engineering and Building), and Life Cycle reserve study update 2. February 4th, 9th – Capital Budget 3. February 10th – Councillor Requests and Operating Budget 4. February 18th – Operating Budget Public Budget Consultation Meeting is scheduled to take place on: 1. March 4th at 7 p.m. in the Civic Centre Once the Budget Committee and Budget Consultation meetings are complete, the following process will take place to finalize the budget: 1. March 23rd, 2015 General Committee - recommends budget to Council 2. March 31st, 2015 Council Decision 3. April 1st, 2015 Press Conference
