Marlee was simple. Maybe too simple? She was young, but she lived to her fullest. At least she thought. But she knew how to play the piano like a queen. She rarely played in front of anyone. Her mother might have heard her place once in a while, but not very much. Marlee was blooming with joy when she sat down at her huge red piano. Her tiny fingers gliding over the keys as she play a classical song. She closed her eyes just listening to the music play and the sound fill her room. Marlee was filled with emotion and how to show it off was with music. After she finished her music session, her smile grew even wider. And her tummy grew even hungrier. Im hungry. Marlee mumbled to herself, being home alone was amazing. At least, she loved being home alone, she could eat and cook everything she wanted to. As she started some popcorn on the stove, she let it sit there, when she heard the phone ring. She jumped out of her skins, and ran to the phone just incase it was her boyfriend Leo. Now, Leo. Hes an amazing guy, and he cares about her. Every moment they are together she feels love and passion. That its almost too hard to explain. As she answered the phone, she didnt pay attention to her popcorn, until it was on fire burning. She quickly yelped and gripped the popcorn, throwing it in the sink. As she tried to put the water on it, it caught the sink curtains on fire. And before she knew it.. Everything was catching a flame. She panicked. Tears swelled up in her eyes, as she ran out of the house, watching the flames spread and devour her house. Marlee felt terrible. Her parents were going to kill her. Mom. She trembled as she called her mother on the phone. The house is on fire. She cried into the phone, dropping it just sitting in the road. Marlee wasnt one to feel just guilty, when ever she had feelings they were intensified, because of how alone she has been in the past. As she stared her house getting eaten by the wet flames, her eyes became blurry as the tears poured out of her eyes like a water fountain.
