May I use this medium to welcome the executive Governor of Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun(CON) to Ijebu East local government today on his assessment tour. I will also like to use this medium to ask him what hes actually coming here to assess because Im yet to see any project initiated by this administration that the governor is coming to assess aside the model school that has been under construction since God knows when. As far as Im concerned SIAs administration has done absolutely nothing in this LG since he assumed office over 3years ago. I must be frank with his excellency as one of his supporter towards the 2011 elections despite not being a member of the then ACN, I campained vigorously for him because I believe he will perform but his administration has failed us in this LG. Im very sure he or his party cant win any free and fair elections in this LG as of today! Fine, he has made us understand that his administration takes road construction very important but all the roads in this LG are nothing to right home about. If the governor is really a governor of the people I will enjoin him not to pass through the express while comimg to the LG today. He should pass through the Ijebu-Ode, Oke-iwa, Ilese down to ijebu east road to actually feel the pains the motorists as well as the commuters are going through everyday. That road is an eyesore. Let me also use this medium to let the governor know that his number one representative in this LG in person of the LG chairman is his number one enemy. He has successfully taken governance away from the reach of the common man on the street by accumulating wealth and properties to himself with the meager fund coming to the LG. He is the worst in the history of LG chairmen. He has successfully torn your government and party into shreds in the LG with his wayward and over the board behaviour. Our local government can offer better when it comes to leadership. You need to see the way he has been working tirelessly in the past few days all because his excellency is coming as if that was not his primary responsibily in the first place. I also want the governor to not limit his assesment tour to Ojowo alone. I want him to visit places like Imobi, Lumafon, Ogbere and some other towns to know that peolple are not impressed with his administration so far and it will only take something drastic to change their opinion about your administration. Lastly, I am appealing to the governor to please come to our aid on this ijebu-ode, oke-owa, ilese down to ijebu east road. Maybe that will change peoples opinion about your government.
