May we never forget 09-11-01 and those who sacrificed their lives to try and save others and paid the ultimate price. I will never forget Chris Blackwell. A great man, father, husband and friend... I met Chris, the first time when I was a freshman in high school. He was the first emergency personel to care for two fingers I nearly amputated in high school. He comforted me with his care, knowledge and light hearted humor. He inspired me to become involved in Emergency Medicine! I later went on to work with him in the ER for 4 years, where I saw him almost nightly coming in on the ambulance with patients... The world lost an amazing human being 13 years ago tomorrow. It was comforting to see his face and video recordings of him today in this documentary!! God Bless Chris and ALL of those in the FDNY that gave all to help others. Rest in Peace Chris, you ard greatly missed by many!!
