Mayor Jack Hakim and City Manager Toby Cotter joined the American Legion Board under the leadership of Commander Richard Roel at Post 87 today to celebrate the five-year contract extension for the use of the City facility. American Legion Post 87 leases the Citys facility on Clearwater adjacent to the marinas on the Colorado River. The rent was reduced by the Bullhead City Council to allow Post 87 to complete facility improvements, including some major upgrades to the kitchen. American Legion Post 87 leaders believe the kitchen improvements will allow them to bring in additional profits, which helps offset their lease payments to the city and also allows the Post to provide services to Veterans and other community sponsorships. The City looks forward to its long-term relationship with Post 87 and appreciates all Veterans for their service to our nation!
