Measuring the Atmosphere You can mimic the way a satellite measures the atmosphere with this project. Measure the light through water as you slowly make it cloudy by adding milk to it. Use the light sensor and number module to do this. This project is similar to how satellite instruments measure the atmosphere. Since aerosols and gases scatter light differently, NASA instruments can determine the composition of the atmosphere by measuring how light is scattered.
