Mechanical problems have knocked Kitsap Transit foot ferry Admiral Jack out of service this afternoon between Bremerton and Annapolis. The 51-seat Admiral Jack and 30-person General Chesty have been two-timing the route while the Carlisle II is out for maintenance. The 120-car Admiral Pete has been holding down the Port Orchard-Bremerton run. That will continue. While General Chesty is alone, Kitsap Transit says riders who don’t fit can ferry to Port Orchard and catch a special bus to Annapolis. Admiral Jack is expected to be back in service for the Thursday morning commute.
