Congressman Dan Benishek (MI-01) will be meeting with leaders in energy innovation in the Lower Peninsula on August 18th-19th, 2014. He will be visiting several different types of energy plants around the district to learn about wind, hydropower, solar and water energy. Energy is incredibly important in Northern Michigan. Michigan has become a leader in energy production in the United States and these important projects are just the beginning, said Dr. Benishek.
