**Meet Lizzie** LIzzie is a gorgeous crop-eared 4 year old female Staffie/Bull Terrier. She is so loving and affectionate. She loves to be around people and is a sweet dog who everyone instantly falls in love with. Unfortunately, Lizzie has a torn ACL and needs surgery. The shelter cannot provide this for her, so we are desperately hoping there is a rescue out there that will take her under their wings and give her a chance to make someone very happy as a loved pet. Lizzie seems bossy with other dogs, but we also know she is in pain which can affect an in-shelter dog test. She has not been cat-tested but this can be done on request. Lizzies stray time was up yesterday and she has been moved out of adoption due to her leg. She developed kennel cough today and stopped eating. She is urgent. Of all the pits, she is not one I thought would need my help finding rescue because she was SO popular. Now she is just as urgent as any of the others.
