Meeting Updates! Greatest SOMES 04 Grads! We need to get some clarity on ds our 10th yr Anniversary proposal. We need to agree within d nxt 1wk d exact date of d event. D PHC zone has proposed 22nd Nov. 2014 & we need oda zones 2 either agree or propose anoda date. Deadline 4ur response is 1st Sept. 2014. If we agree on d date, we need 2form an LOC based in Owerri. Each zone wl hav 2nominate som1 frm dia zone 2join d LOC. D LOC wl hav 2get d venue 4d agreed date. We hav made proposal for a brochure similar 2d yr book we had in schl. Each person gets a page in d brochure & wl send in dia personal or family pic wt a writeup of dia choice. D brochure wl b distributed as souvenir at d event. D zonal rep wl collate d pictures & writeups frm dia respective zones & send 2d LOC. Once d date is agreed & LOC formed, we hav 2start raising funds 4hiring d venue, brochure design & booking oda entertainment thngs. D LOC wl b tasked wt letting us know how long d event wl b (a 1 or 2 days event), invited guests, programme of event & oda details. D zonal rep in d LOC wl giv periodic updates 2dia zones on progress made by d LOC. All shld pls make comments ASAP! We dont hav time anymore. We jst hav 2mnths+ 2get thngs ready. U know guest speakers wl need enof time 2prepare speeches. We need enof time 4publicity 2go round. People outside Owerri need time 2plan 2attend.
