Memorial Day is a time for reflection and honoring those that came - TopicsExpress

Memorial Day is a time for reflection and honoring those that came before us, who fought for the freedoms we enjoy today. In the Parkour community, there are countless practitioners who helped pave the way for the sport and discipline we love. They are the men and women who practiced quietly in the streets, building their skills, and sometimes filming the videos that helped inspire generations of new movers. First up to honor today is Teige Matthews-Palmer, aka Teghead. Most newer practitioners will not remember him but Teghead was instrumental in his own way for the early adopters of parkour. This video, originally released in 2008, was a beautiful compilation of his movement that wasnt just smooth, but fast, precise, and creating an atmosphere all its own. So today, please take some time to enjoy some of the early videos that shaped the parkour community and created what we know and love today. ~Coach Gabe
