Mentally bind: I woke up in the morning with a thunderous pounding sound of modern day slavery in my head. It uses its chisel to tear down my belief of my mental freedom to shreds. It tormenting me with every days life pounding mental blows. It finally convince me that Im now live in the new era of Jim Crow. With it echoing the sounds of slavery thats a never ending battle thats in my mind, I still hear the sounds of slavery thats in the form of a mental bind. Although the handwritten signature that I see signed, thats honored four hundred years ago with the Emancipation Proclamation Decreed. I still insist today upon me not being mentally freed. Despite this countrys own righteous courageous historical deed. In remembrance of Civil War when a nation bleed. Am I alone in my feeling that we are not mentally freed?
