Mesa (Phoenix metro) AZ: MCACC East A#1858353 Kennel #430 (which can change). This little man is in dire need of rescue. He is an older purebred *Dachshund* who was dropped off by his owner today. Fortunately, he was placed in is in the puppy/kitten room, which is a bit calmer than general population. When I saw him in the intake line, I asked the man holding the leash, Oh, are you here for shots? (The dog looks perfectly healthy other than appearing to need treatment for glaucoma in left eye.) The man said, No, I am turning him in. He is getting old. He is blind in one eye. He doesnt always make it outdoors to the bathroom in time. He is my daughters dog, and she really works to much to care for him. _We are hoping that a family might want him._ Rather than creating the need to bother you for bail money, I looked the man in the eye and said, I have no response to that, and walked away. Now that you know what was said, and what I am thinking.... does anyone have help for this little dog? He is precious, spunky, friendly, sweet.
