Message by Amandeep singh Nowadays , m happy to see alott of people helping animals and birds living outside our houses , especially d stray dogs , by feeding them. But we can do so , only to a certain limit i.e. we can feed dem , but cant treat dem , as we r afraid dat dey might bite us or dey might b having rabies or some other disease . But their are some societies and NGOs who are treating these stray dogs and other animals too just for d sake of humanity. One amongst dem is - Sachi Sewa Animal Welfare Society and Gaushala , Tajpur Road , Ludhiana . I am not a promoter or beneficiary of dis society , I am just a student persuing b.tech in GNE college , Ludhiana. I got to know about dis society , when i visited my cats vet , with a stray dog , who got met with a car accident , d vet didnt charged me for treating dat dog , as he said will not charge for treating a stray dog. After , i forced him to take money , he introduced me , with a lady standing nearby , getting a stray dog treated , who is d owner of dis Sachi Sewa Animal Welfare Society and Gaushala, and d vet told me , if i really wanna give money , den i should help her rather , as he confirmed , dat society is really an authentic one. I donated her d money , and after few days , gave a surprise visit to d society , and found it really authentic and that is y , i want to do something for this society. dat is y , m spreading d word and publicising dis society. The relation between me n society is only of humanity. Some other initiatives taken by dis society and particularly by dat lady include - cremating or burying dead animals found on roads , by medicating dem properly , teaching small children d basic knowledge of reading n writing , preaching people , n her preachings basically include lectures on humanity n loving creatures around n moral values. Dey hav only one milking cow , n dey utilise her milk , for the dogs only , rest all cows r non-milking and dey dont sell d milk as well. Dis society is built in a 400sq yard plot , located 3-4 kms ahead jail on Tajpur road , near An Atta Chakki , on right side. I wanna request u to kindly visit dem atleast once , and den if u found dem authentic , do something for dem. Dis something may b things like - donate dem , publicise dem , help generate funds for dem ,donate eatables, plans for generating regular funds , etc...
