I believe that rational thinking will produce reasoned speech, reasoned speech will produce appropriate behavior, and appropriate behavior becomes the foundation for good habits. Your thoughts, your words, your behavior and your habits create your image and your image creates your future. In fact, there is much similarity between human mind and a garden of flowers. A gardener needs to graft a branch of a rose plant in order to grow roses. Similarly humans need to develop wisdom with rational thoughts and a commitment to service to others in order to produce an atmosphere of effective communication and respect for others. It is our decision to choose our path, and how we want to live. It is also our responsibility to manage our mind to build habits that promote respect and harmony. This leads to respectful discussions with others, a positive attitude, an attractive philosophy, and appropriate demeanor and finally, a peaceful life style. It is our life style, which attracts likeminded people to our lives. Your mind and garden have other similarities; they both need to be taken care of on consistent bases by weeding away harmful elements and by fertilizing each with positive and powerful thoughts. So train your mind to choose selected thought that is beneficial to you and others, while using your heart to give unconditional love.
