Message from Security: As part of required compliance with the Fire Code the fire hydrants on Redeemers campus need to be tested. The test is performed by flowing water from them to determine pressure and flowrates, much like the annual testing performed in your neighbourhood. This can lead to sudden flows through otherwise normal flowing pipes. This sudden flow can lead to some brown water as scale and rust is dislodged from the interior of the pipes, much like the annual testing performed in your neighbourhood. Should you encounter any discoloured water, please allow the water to flow until it clears up again. The water is still safe to drink.
