Michael Brown Family statement after Grand Jury Decision that was based on irrefutable physical evidence, and witness testimony! It shows how people are, and why crime continues to proliferate, it all begins at home with the upbringing. If Michael Brown didnt go out and commit a crime that day, and if he didnt physically confront a Police Officer, hed still be with us today. His family shouldve apologized for their son, and all the trouble his cigar theft has caused to the Store Owner, The Police Officer and his Family, to Ferguson, and The General Public. Instead, they stated this: We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions. While we understand that many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change. We need to work together to fix the system that allowed this to happen. Join with us in our campaign to ensure that every police officer working the streets in this country wears a body camera. We respectfully ask that you please keep your protests peaceful. Answering violence with violence is not the appropriate reaction.
