Mission Moment - Making a Difference Recently, while a YMCA member was making a contribution to our facility repairs fund, he talked about how important the YMCA is to him. He shared how he has been coming to the Mahaska County YMCA all his life and referred to it is his second home several times. We love hearing from our members and are excited when our mission comes to life in individuals lives. Your Y has been supporting and changing lives of Oskaloosa residents since 1866. This member took the time to share his story with us; we want to thank him, and the entire community, for supporting our facility, our goals, and our mission. We are here because of you and for you.
