Moira Francos work is basically focused on human faces traced on paper. The sign is so important that they could be assimilated to drawings. Actually, the painting technique is not at all in the background but flows in the folds of facial expressions and on the amniotic fluid wherein all characters are immersed. The liquid could seem simply water, simply sea, but something more is emerging from it in the form of simbols of awareness. Waves too dense, fishes as headgear similar to the popes tiara, icebergs that emerge in a cold environment of wind moving in geometric blocks, confused expressions of suffered awakenings. Moiras work has been selected for the contest of MEAM, Museu Europeu dArt Modern of Barcelona and will be exposed in the magnificient neoclassic building of Palau Gomis (in front of Museu Picasso) from June 4th.
