Monday Monday Monday. Lordy loo are Mondays gonna be hard this school year. But we are gonna make it. I look forward to sitting down and being quiet so I can write yall. Its a great end to a crazy day. So we survived our first week with momma back at work. Its just enough but not too much time apart. MEM seems to be doing amazing to us. It maybe because we look for things but she just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Several nights this week she sat with us in bed. She topples but we just put her back. Anything to build up those muscles. She also enjoyed her big sister Matties birthday party. So like everyone else we are just busy busy. One thing I have been meaning to share with you. When we started this journey a little over two years ago, we had never heard of or could barely pronounce holoprosencephaly. I bet that the majority of you hadnt either. We thought we were so alone. As many of you know we belong to an amazing group called Families for HoPE. A group we didnt find until weeks after MEM was born. These families and their children mean the world to me. We help each other with tears and cheers. Its great. I do not know the actual number but there are dozens and dozens and dozens. In the last few weeks we have added close to 25 new kiddos. Of all ages. How cool is that???????? One is actually in her 20s and wrote to us herself. Now she has one of the mildest forms but seriously...how cool!!! In just 7 shorts week many of us will head to Dallas for our long awaited conference. We finally get to meet each other and love on each others babies. I am so excited I just cant stand it. So thank you all....almost 5000 strong for following us in this Journey. For praying for MEM and the rest of my awesome family. For learning about HPE. For praying for the hundred+ kiddos in our precious little group. By the time these kiddos are older everyone will know about them and they will all be loved and accepted. Big hugs to you all.
