Monday Thoughts: Bodybuilding- undoubtedly one of the hardest sports out there. Not only is this sport require grueling physical ability and work, but also questionably the harder part is the mental side of the sport. Most people can push themselves in the gym, but what separates other sports to bodybuilding is that the training in the gym is only one factor. The training, the dieting, the posing… this isnt just a sport this is a lifestyle. You live it 24/7, day in and day out. You don’t eat when you are hungry, and you eat when you arent. It gets tough, that’s when you dig deeper. You get hungry, that’s when the mental part really comes into play. It seems like a lot of people these days are bodybuilders. Yet, these bodybuilders can’t commit to training their body, instead of their mouths, they can’t commit to following a plan, they can’t commit to the diet. Being a bodybuilder isnt just about being a bodybuilder on social media, it’s about being a bodybuilder in real life. I understand people are different. Not everyone is going to bring the same level to the table as other competitors. I can also say before you judge make sure you know their story, where they came from. I understand not everyone can be the best. What makes a bodybuilder a bodybuilder is not just winning, but bringing your absolute BEST to that stage, committing 100%. Did you give your training all you had? Did you stick to your diet 100%... not cheating when it got tough? Did you do every single cardio you were supposed to? Did you practice your posing? Did you commit fully to being the BEST, and I mean absolute best bodybuilder you could be? Until you can answer yes to all of those questions, STOP bragging about your success, stop bragging about being a bodybuilder and most of all stop cheating yourself.
