Monday is leg day!! Here are five moves for you to add to your Monday morning! No equipment needed, everything is done using your body weight. 1. Calf raises! There are five variations of calf raises I use. - parallel toes pointed forward - toes pointed inward, heels out - heels inward, toes out - perpendicular. Right foot forward left foot on inch in front - perpendicular. Left foot forward, right foot in front by one inch. Heel to toe! 25 times each! 2. Jump squats Squat down slowly and let your fingertips touch the ground. Then shoot up when you start to stand up and jump up off the ground. You can make this harder by jumping up higher and bringing your knees up. You can make this easier by only lifting one leg up and taking the high impact out, just alternate knees in. 25 times! 3. Walking lunges Make sure your knees do not pass your toes 25 times alternating sides each time 4. Pulse squat with high kick Squat down and pulse twice and as you come up kick to one side as high as you can. Alternate sides each time. 25 times 5. Sumo squat hold Toes out, feet wider than shoulder distance Hold for 30 seconds. Keep your hands off your knees its cheating! Do this sequence 2-3 times Happy leg day!!
