Monday morning mental floss, random notes and idle thoughts #8367 With respect to the sale of the electricity poles and wires in NSW, Im becoming increasingly irritated and jaundiced by the political class, who instead of making a decision, selling the idea on merit and the material infrastructure benefits to be derived from (in this case) a $30 billion windfall, timidly and obsequiously refuse to do so until they run the idea past the electorate at the next election. On this issue the electorate wouldnt have clue or care less anyway. But they will notice the new bridge or road or hospital or whatever. Whats the problem? Youre selling one asset but creating many others. If you cant sell that concept what the hell are you doing there? This is not leadership. This is followship.
