More new loveliness to grace the shelves of Lagom Felt Studio! I am delighted to be able to offer this wonderful range of jewellery, created by Mary Carol Souness of Celtic Hart. Here are some of Marys “Cloutie Gems” - inspired by the ancient Celtic practice of cloutie wells and trees, the “Clout”, or cloth is an age old form of remembrance. These “Gems” incorporate recycled, restructured textiles and either sheep fleece or highland cow hair in a unique way. As always, the photos really dont do these lovely pieces justice, so you will need to pop in to have a wee look the next time you are passing.
