Morning all. Thank you all for helping to grow this group so nicely. Please keep inviting friends. The group needs to be much bigger. Some feedback on where we are now. We opted to develop our own dedicated streamwebsite and mobile app. It was clear from saturday evening that we need a site thats compatible with sa infrastructure and not force the streaming with overseas infrastructures. We will still use certain international software but we will have a much userfriendly platform to work from. I received many messages yesterday from organisations, track owners and promoters enquiring about how we see this venture playing out and the benefits around it. It may be a good idea to explain a bit more here to ensure total transparency and to ensure we all know what the aim of this is. 1. We need coverage of certain motorsport events that will never enjoy national tv coverage. This is the target market for this initiative. 2. I am a racer myself and i know that the money spent is rather extensive....on whatever level you race at. Its not cheap. We can get this coverage for the racers at no charge to the drivers/teams out there. The drivers/teams sponsors will be satisfied if their name or brand receive valuable coverage at no extra cost. This will surely lead to drivers gaining more sponsorship as you cant get it better than this 3. Yes....there are expenses to me. And i am carrying it at this point in time. But ultimately the goal is to when the group is large enough, i will sell channel advertising space that will basically be the dedicated channel sponsors wherever we go to stream events. This is a massive advantage for any business wishing to advertise/market their business in a captive audience. There are businesses already lined up for being channel sponsors once we have the website up and running and the groups numbers justifies selling space on the channel. This way my expenses will be covered and the drivers/teams dont have any extra expenses. Its a no brainer really. There might be a small charge to the tracks but we are still assessing this. If there will be a fee to track promoters or owners it will be minimal. 4. Equipment is a big subject currently. And its expensive. To receive better quality you obviously have to buy quality. If there are anybody or businesses out there that are willing to assist or contribute towards financing or renting better cameras please make contact with me. We can easily use this also as becoming a channel sponsor for a period that we all agree to. For example whoever sponsors a camera will be a channel sponsor for a year. We need four cameras for now. I will communicate as we progress further. We will be at the rotax africa open karting event this coming saturday to test a bit more and gain more info so i will communicate through this group/channel obviously.
