Mr Jonathan: Choice between misery and corruption? Its just - TopicsExpress

Mr Jonathan: Choice between misery and corruption? Its just noise and distractions. Mr Jonathan and his fast collapsing PDP have little positives to showcase after 6 yrs of Presidency, so they stoop to lies, character assassination, mudslinging, religious and ethnic divisiveness and the likes to run their campaign. Meanwhile, APC and the Iconic and irrepressible Gen Buhari are busy addressing the genuine concerns of the people, earning sympathy votes and attracting unprecedented change agents and formidable crowds in campaign venues. PDP will realise soon enough that their strategy has a fatal flaw. Most Nigerians are interested on issues, strategies and plans of every political candidate seeking the presidential seat and not a non issue of mere paper Certificate of a candidate, which he has in multiples anyway. Nigerians want to hear how they can access uninterrupted light, how they can access housing and business loans to further the frontiers of their economic wellbeing especially this time of falling revenue and depreciated Naira. Nigerians were fully aware of these problems when they voted for Mr Jonathan in 2011. He promised a breath of fresh air. Four years down the line nothing changed, neither fundamental restructuring of system for enhanced efficiency nor radical diversification of our revenue base to avoid this unsustainable mono-economic paradigm we had all these years. Mr Jonathan raised the tempo of corruption to a level never seen in Nigeria history and if not surgically exterminated would destroy all of us. The problem with corruption is that, it does not respect tribe, neither does it respect religion nor age. After the Chibok abduction and the melodrama, lack of responsiveness rather finger pointing. No empathy rather playing the victim and evoking ethnic and religious divisiveness which never featured in 2011 elections, I realise a vote for Mr Jonathan will be a vote against nobility, prosperity and a justification of avarice, impunity, corruption, evil and death of Nigeria.
