Mrs. Annie Maude Brown Davis, of Jefferson County departed this life Thursday, October 30th, 2014 at the PurittHealth Old Capitol Nursing Home, Louisville, Georgia. Mrs. Davis was a native of Jefferson County. She was born the daughter to the now late Willie James Brown and Aflettia Peeples Brown. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the now late Willie Albert Bell and after his passing she was united in Holy Matrimony to the now late Willie Davis. At an early age she joined the Christian Family at the Stone Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church and attended the Stone Springfield School. She later moved to Florida for approximately {7} years and then Worshipped with the Christian Family at the New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. After returning to Jefferson County she then joined the Christian at the Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church, Avera, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings; Nina Mae Daniel, Mattie Ella Brown, Lucille Upton, William G. Brown, and Nathaniel Brown. Survivors include her loving and devoted children; John Willie Bell, Annie E. (Husband-John) Brown, both of Lakeland, Florida, Joan Walker, of Tallahassee, Florida, Sophernia Smith, of Lakeland, Florida, Sandra (Husband-Edward) Jenkins, Willie Davis, Jr., both of Atlanta, Georgia, Terry Leon (Wife-Dawn) Bell, and Aaron D. Bell, of Baton Rough, LA, her loving sisters; Mary Alice Wicker, and Dorothy Ann Wicker, both of Stapleton, Georgia, {1} step-sister; Rosetta Habersham, of Louisville, Georgia, her daughter-in-law; Maggie Bell, of Wadley, Georgia, {17} grandchildren, {9} great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and many devoted friends including Walter and Lottie Wicker Thomas, of Bartow, Georgia. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, November 8th, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church 11816 Sandvalley Road, Avera, Georgia with Pastor, Reverend Wallace Peeples as Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitations will be conducted Friday, November 7th, 2014 at the Davis Funeral Home, Louisville, Georgia, from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M.
