Municipal Market Newsletter Reporter Job (New York, NY, USA): Job Requisition Number:42232 Mission Statement: Bloomberg Brief publishes 19 newsletters that provide unique data, original content and commentary on topics including Economics, Hedge Funds and the Municipal Market. Municipal Market: We publish a daily municipal market newsletter aimed at institutional buyers, bankers, financial advisers, lawyers, regulators and issuers. The brief includes a daily deal column, top news, and data on yields, volume and sales in both the primary and secondary market. The position: The reporter will write four to five exclusive stories a week. The emphasis is on short exclusives. The reporter also will interview top fund managers and investors and produce Q&As. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the industry and be well-sourced among investors and investment banks, or demonstrate the skills to quickly become well sourced. Source meetings and attendance at industry conferences are vital. The job may include travel.
