Music from a bona fide mystery man, Lewis, whose LP, LAmour, was released on an independent label in 1983 to deafening indifference. It shouldnt have been, though, as its brilliant stuff: imagine Antony Hegarty backed by Angelo Badalamenti, or Bryan Ferry so deeply stoned on opium that he cant even get off his chaise longue. Lewis identity is still unknown, though he is said to have been a Canadian stockbroker named Randall Wulff (which sounds like the name of an evil business rival of Bruce Waynes) who lived a vaguely Patrick Bateman-esque lifestyle in an all-white apartment with a girlfriend who looked like a model.
