Musings of a Winter mind - read no further if your easily offended. *** The winter in North Dakota does something strange to those who exist in this type of weather. It could be that we spend a great deal of time underneath blanks shivering or just waiting for our cars to warm up. Either way it gives us a great deal of time to just think. Well, that is what I am doing often and the things I think about are not Politically Correct nor for the faint of heart. Therefore, I must remind you that if you are easily offended that you please read no further as some of this is tongue in cheek and others are not. I do not mean to be rude or offensive, but hey we have things upon our mind and some of these things make us laugh while others make us cry. On with the Musings of a Winter Mind. Ever wondered why Adam could not live without Eve ? Well, it is sort of like this. Nothing would have ever gotten done around the garden unless Eve was nagging Adam the entire time. As far as Eve eating the apple. Hey it was only once and they werent even married yet, so lets not forget that after they got married, she never took a bit of the apple again. Hummm And why did she eat the apple ? According to the documents we have at hand, Adam was made first. As far as he understood he knew everything. Since Eve didnt have a hairdresser to consult with, she decided to make sure he was right. So crunch. Laws Some laws were made to free us, other laws were made to prevent us from harming other or harm coming to us. However, sometimes I think the way Wyatt Earp enforced the law should be used in some circumstances. If you know someone is going to come along and wack you up side the head for doing something stupid, like spray painting the side of the my garage. Youd think twice about doing it. That is the same reason why you didnt get into stuff you were not suppose to at Grandmas house, because you would get a swat. I think anyone who says that you have to buy their healthcare and it is the law of the land, needs to get a lesson in understanding that the law of the land is the constitution. This constitution frees us from having to buy crap we dont want nor can afford. But I am sure this person needs a visit from a few million grandmothers. Finally Cookies. Because who doesnt like cookies ? When I was young and the cookie jar was up high upon the refrigerator I dreamed of being tall so I could reach it. Now that I am tall and able to reach it, I should not because they make me fat. This just goes to show that what we want and what we can have are two different things. Or are they ? I really dont know this made more sense before my mind went into the cold. The temperature dropped below freezing today and though, heck I should get paid to live in this winter paradise and then, no, Id just waste the money. Maybe each person should be given a free vacation to someplace tropical. Who knows. All I know is that I keep eating cookies, I wont be able to fit into the tight little swimsuits when I go on vacation. :p lol Anyway Id like to hear your musings of a winter mind - or just keep watching here, I am sure more non-sense and wismy will appear here.
