My 2012 Chevy Cruze LS experienced what appears to be a computer issue last night. I took the car to the Princeton Chevrolet in New Jersey. After the first service writer ignored me, then answered the phone while I was in mid sentence, she then dismissed me to the writer behind her. This service writer completely disregarded everything I had to say and had no interest in what was wrong with my car. She then said sorry, but I cant take you in until Friday. Want to schedule something? I felt like what I said about the car was unimportant to anyone at the dealership. I have video proof of what the car was doing. Why couldnt they hook the car up to the computer and see what was going on? Maybe diagnose it at least then get me scheduled? Or take the car and offer me a loaner? There was no concern for my safety at all. I have attached a video of what the car is doing. Im sure Chevrolet customer care will comment with their generic response to apologize and offer some excuses. Im writing here to show that I am completely dissatisfied with the service departments of Chevrolet in general. Maybe if wed stop taking short cuts and using questionable parts from china the service bays wouldnt be overloaded.
